McKenzie College delighted with announcement of 1000 jobs at BMM Testlabs
SEPTEMBER 25, 2015McKenzie College, a local training partner with BMM Testlabs, in the area of Software Testing, is delighted with the announcement of 1,000 new jobs at BMM Testlabs, in the Moncton area.
BMM worked closely with McKenzie to develop curriculum for its Software Tester Program, that ensures graduates are well qualified to work in this field.
The 11-month diploma program includes design and execution, testing fundamentals, test automation, and leads to an internationally recognized Certification Preparation (ISTQB). In addition, the program includes a six-week internship.
Dale Ritchie, President of McKenzie College, was introduced to Martin Storm, CEO of BMM at the recent announcement in Moncton, and will meet with him to further discuss their educational collaboration in Melbourne, Australia, early in October.
McKenzie started its first cohort of Software Testers earlier this month, and with this announcement and increasing demand, will start another cohort, later this fall.
Software testing is an entry-level point in the ICT world and has tremendous growth potential with BMM and other similar testing companies. Students require a high school diploma or university degree, but do not require extensive programming knowledge.
